View Low Season Rates →This 6-day Kenya safari is designed to deliver Kenya’s most iconic scenery and wildlife in one smooth, well-paced journey: Amboseli for elephants framed by Mount Kilimanjaro, Lake Naivasha for a relaxed Rift Valley experience and optional boat safari, and the legendary Masai Mara for big cats and classic Big Five game drives. Starting in Nairobi, you travel by road through changing landscapes—city, farmlands, and open savannah—arriving in the parks at the best times of day for viewing.
The safari includes a private 4x4 vehicle and a professional guide (English included; other languages available on request), meaning your day can be tailored: longer at sightings, more photography stops, or a relaxed pace for families. Between parks, you’ll enjoy comfortable, proven safari lodges—chosen for location, atmosphere, and service.
From Amboseli’s swamps that draw wildlife year-round to the Mara’s vast plains that host the Great Migration seasonally, this itinerary balances “wow moments” with comfort—so you return home with real safari memories, not just long drives.
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), you’ll be met and transferred to your Nairobi hotel. Depending on flight time, you can relax, enjoy a light city orientation, or plan optional visits (Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen area, or craft shopping on request). In the evening, your guide briefs you on safari flow, daily departure times, and what to expect in each region.
Overnight: The Heron Portico Hotel (Nairobi) • Meal Plan: Bed & Breakfast
After breakfast, drive south to Amboseli National Park, famous for elephant herds and the best “Kilimanjaro backdrop” photography in Kenya (weather permitting). Arrive for lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive across open plains and swamp areas where elephants, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and predators are regularly seen.
Overnight: Amboseli Sopa Lodge • Meal Plan: Full Board
Start early for golden-light wildlife viewing in Amboseli—often the best moment for lions, hyena activity, and elephant scenes with Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, continue toward the Great Rift Valley and arrive at Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake known for birds, hippos, and calm scenery.
In the afternoon, enjoy an optional boat safari to see hippos and waterbirds up close (on request). The pace here is intentionally relaxing, providing a different “Kenya mood” before the high-energy Masai Mara days.
Overnight: Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort • Meal Plan: Full Board
After breakfast, travel to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive for lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive as you begin searching for big cats and large herbivore herds. The Mara’s open plains make wildlife spotting incredibly rewarding.
Overnight: Mara Sopa Lodge • Meal Plan: Full Board
Spend the full day in the Mara with flexible game-drive routing based on wildlife movement. You’ll focus on predator areas, river lines, and plains where cheetah hunting is common. The goal is quality time—staying longer at prime sightings and building a complete safari story, not just “driving around.”
Optional: visit a Maasai village (on request) to learn about local culture and traditions.
Overnight: Mara Sopa Lodge • Meal Plan: Full Board
After breakfast, depart the Mara and drive back to Nairobi. Depending on your flight schedule, you may stop for lunch and last-minute shopping, then transfer to NBO for your departure flight. This concludes your Kenya safari.
