View Rates →This 7-day Kenya wellness safari is designed for travelers who want more than a “checklist” safari — it’s a calm, luxurious rhythm that blends iconic wildlife with restorative downtime. You begin in Nairobi at the world-famous Giraffe Manor, where elegant hospitality meets one of Kenya’s most memorable wildlife interactions: Rothschild giraffes visiting during breakfast and evening hours.
From Nairobi, you fly into the Masai Mara, Kenya’s flagship wildlife landscape. Here, your experience is built around private game drives, thoughtful guiding, and a comfortable pace. Between drives, you’ll enjoy wellness-friendly downtime: unhurried meals, quiet afternoons, gentle walks (where offered), scenic sundowners, and space to simply breathe — the “wellness” is real, not rushed.
The itinerary includes seamless internal flights and airstrip transfers to maximize time in the bush. An optional sunrise hot-air balloon safari can be arranged on request for a once-in-a-lifetime aerial view over the Mara plains.
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) and meet our team for a private transfer into the leafy Karen area. Nairobi often surprises first-time visitors — wide boulevards, green suburbs, and a softer pace than expected. As you approach Giraffe Manor, the city feels far away, replaced by gardens and indigenous forest.
After check-in, settle into the manor’s calm atmosphere. This afternoon is intentionally gentle: you can enjoy the property, soak in the setting, and ease into Kenya time. If you’d like, we can help arrange light add-ons such as a visit to the giraffe centre, a relaxed city stop, or a simple wellness reset (quiet time, reading, journaling, or an early night).
Overnight: Nairobi (Giraffe Manor) • Meal Plan: As per property inclusions
Wake up to one of Kenya’s most iconic experiences: a slow morning at Giraffe Manor, where giraffes may appear during breakfast hours. It’s playful, intimate, and surprisingly peaceful — the perfect “wellness start” before the wild days ahead. After breakfast, you transfer to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight into the Masai Mara.
The flight gives you a beautiful overview of Kenya’s landscapes — patchwork farms, river lines, and then open wilderness. On landing, your camp team meets you for a short transfer to camp. After settling in and enjoying lunch, you head out for your first Mara game drive. This first drive is often magical: the plains are vast, and wildlife encounters come quickly — elephant families crossing, topi and zebra grazing, and predators scanning from a distance.
Return to camp for a warm shower, sundowners, and a relaxed dinner. Tonight is about grounding into the rhythm: early sleep, fresh air, and the quiet soundtrack of the bush.
Overnight: Masai Mara (Luxury Camp 1) • Meal Plan: Full Board
Today is a full Masai Mara immersion day, designed to feel expansive rather than exhausting. You’ll head out early — the best light, cooler temperatures, and strong predator activity. Your guide reads the land like a story: fresh tracks, alarm calls, and movement patterns that can lead to remarkable sightings when patience is applied.
Because this is built around a wellness rhythm, you’ll also have the option to slow down between drives. Return to camp for a proper breakfast, rest, and a calm midday break. The Mara is not only about chasing sightings — it’s about absorbing the landscape: wide skies, golden grass, and the feeling of being present. Later, head back out for an afternoon drive and a scenic sundowner.
Overnight: Masai Mara (Luxury Camp 1) • Meal Plan: Full Board
After breakfast, you transfer to your second luxury camp in the Mara. This is not a “boring travel day” — it’s a game drive in motion. Changing zones often changes your sightings: different prides, new river lines, and varied landscapes. Your guide will use the route to maximize viewing, stopping where wildlife is active and taking time for photography and observation.
Arrive at your new camp, settle in, and enjoy lunch. The afternoon can be flexible: relax, enjoy camp comforts, or head out again depending on energy. This camp change is part of the wellness design — it keeps the journey fresh without rushing, giving you the “new beginning” feeling mid-safari.
Overnight: Masai Mara (Luxury Camp 2) • Meal Plan: Full Board
With the pace established, today is your opportunity to focus on what matters most to you — big cats, elephants, birdlife, or simply long scenic drives with fewer vehicles. The Mara is famous for lions and cheetahs, and patient tracking can lead to powerful moments: a pride greeting, cubs playing, cheetahs scanning from termite mounds, or a leopard tucked into a tree near a river bend.
Your guide shapes the day around recent intelligence and your preferences. If you want a slower wellness feel, you can opt for one longer drive and more relaxation. If you want maximum safari intensity, you can stay out with picnic meals. Either way, the intention remains the same: quality time in the wilderness, with comfort and calm built in.
Overnight: Masai Mara (Luxury Camp 2) • Meal Plan: Full Board
If you choose the optional sunrise hot-air balloon safari, today begins before dawn. You’ll lift gently into the sky as the Mara wakes up — herds moving across the plains, river lines unfolding below, and the vastness of the ecosystem visible in a way game drives can’t replicate. The experience typically ends with a celebratory bush breakfast.
If you prefer not to balloon, you’ll enjoy an early morning game drive instead — often the best time to find predators returning from a night hunt or heading back to shade. The rest of the day stays flexible: relax at camp, enjoy a slower afternoon, or head out again for your final sunset drive. Tonight is your farewell bush dinner — the perfect moment to reflect and celebrate the journey.
Overnight: Masai Mara (Luxury Camp 2) • Meal Plan: Full Board
After breakfast, you transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Nairobi. Depending on timing, you may enjoy a short final drive en route — the Mara often offers a last surprise. On arrival in Nairobi, our team will meet you for a private transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO).
If you’re extending your trip (beach, more Kenya, or Tanzania), we can align logistics accordingly. Otherwise, this marks the end of your Kenya wellness safari — rested, inspired, and full of unforgettable wildlife moments.
